AL West won, but Rangers have couple of critical jobs left on their to-do list

OAKLAND, Calif. -- With the AL West safely tucked away, the Rangers turn their focus to other short-term priorities.

Home-field advantage.

Getting their pitching staff healthy and properly aligned.

Both.

On Saturday, they showed that greed, for lack of a better, word can be good. They inched a little closer to getting home-field advantage and a lot closer to getting the pitching staff straightened out.
