The Texas Rangers may not be back to the dominance they had back in early June but they have gotten themselves out of their slump they were in. The bad news for the team is that the Houston Astros have taken full advantage of the situation by winning five games in a row. They have built a 5.0 game lead over the Los Angeles Angels and a 6.5 game lead over the Rangers. With just exactly half the season left, anything can happen with injuries, hot/cold streaks, and even trades.
The Rangers won four of the seven games they played this week.
