Josh Hamilton being activated by the Texas Rangers on Monday

The Texas Rangers will activate outfielder Josh Hamilton from the disabled list on Monday, according to Jeff Wilson on Twitter.  Wilson says Hamilton will fly tomorrow to Cleveland, where the Rangers start a series with the Indians on Monday.

Hamilton, of course, was acquired a few weeks back from the Los Angeles Angels in a deal where the Angels were simply seeking to unload him and try to save some money.  The Rangers are reportedly on the hook for approximately $7 million between 2015-17 for Hamilton, who won the American League MVP Award while with the Rangers in 2010.
