Texas Football Recruiting: Longhorns Pushing Hard For Three-Star Baylor Commit

Three-star ATH Grayland Arnold is a Baylor commit, but Arnold has been hearing quite a bit from the Texas Longhorns lately.

“They’ve been contacting me a lot recently.” Arnold said. “They watched me workout and they’ve talked to me a lot since. But I haven’t made any trips up there or something.”

Arnold has still been getting pitches from Bedford, Vaughn and Texas safety P.J. Locke, who is from close to Arnold’s hometown, regularly.

However, Arnold has no current plans to visit Texas. He’s still very solid to the Bears – the first team to offer him - but is thinking about the Longhorns.

“They took a chance,” Arnold said. “It’s hard to be that first offer. A lot of colleges wait and see who gets offered before they offered. It lets me know that they really want me.”
