Former Texas Longhorns quarterback Vince Young joined the Ben & Skin Show on 105.3 The Fan [KRLD-FM] recently to talk about his Rose Bowl performance and more. Here are some of the highlights.
On his Rose Bowl performance against USC
Vince Young: It was definitely a wonderful experience. All the hard work me and my teammates went through just to get to that position. Again, a lot of people in the world think it's easy to get there, but it's definitely hard to get to that position.
I mean, I really feel like it started off when we played Michigan first year, the year before, and we had the opportunity to go back the same year to go against USC, which was I believe one of the best teams we came against that year and then had the opportunity to play the game.
