Texas recruiting report card: How did Charlie Strong's first class fare?

Head coach Tom Herman has a tough task in front of him.

The new Texas coach looks to turnaround an ailing program that's coming off three straight losing years. And one of his first hurdles is building recruiting momentum.

Former coach Charlie Strong faced the same obstacles in 2014 after replacing Mack Brown. And while his first class didn't live up to his later classes, he still brought in some top tier talent.

Here's how Texas' 2014 recruiting class fared.

Best player in the class: D'Onta Foreman, RB.

A two-star recruit, Foreman shattered expectations in Austin in just three seasons on campus.
