A very poorly timed miss for true freshman Texas football kicker Cameron Dicker came in the Big 12 Championship Game on Dec. 1 against the Oklahoma Sooners. A back and forth game through the first three quarters gave Texas football the opportunity to take the lead after a big run from Oklahoma coming out of the locker room.
Texas football tied up the game at 27-27 on a touchdown pass from sophomore quarterback Sam Ehlinger to junior wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey. That would’ve given the Texas Longhorns the chance to outright take the lead for the first time since halfway through the second quarter.
