Texas will have to get by Oregon State and Golden Spikes Award candidate Andrew Moore. If the Longhorns can survive the Beavers, 13th ranked Dallas Baptist or the red-hot VCU Rams would be next.

Up first is Oregon State and Moore. The junior finished the regular season 7-2 with 103 strikeouts in 114 innings. With an ERA south of two, the Texas bats will find the going tough. But to advance to a super regional the offense will have to make its presence felt.
