Not only did the former Texas basketball shooting guard Kerwin Roach Jr. go through the 2019 NBA Draft without getting his name called, it took a while for him to get signed. A Hoops Hype writer, Alex Kennedy, posted on his Twitter timeline on June 24 that Roach Jr. would sign with the Hornets ahead of Summer League.
Rounding out Summer League rosters is an entertaining short period during the NBA offseason that saw Roach Jr. land in an interesting situation. The Hornets have an underrated young core that looks pretty good after the 2019 NBA Draft.
