The pursuit of a slot receiver in the 2021 class for the Texas Longhorns received some positive news on Thursday afternoon when The Woodlands wide receiver Teddy Knox included the Horns among his top seven schools.
The other finalists are Alabama, Baylor, Georegia, Louisville, Mississippi State, and Tennessee.
Texas offered Knox last summer and new wide receivers coach Andre Coleman remains in pursuit of the 5’10, 167-pounder, who holds 20 offers thanks to 10.4 speed in the 100m and a verified 4.42 40-yard dash. Coleman’s biggest competition might be a familiar face — former Texas cornerbacks coach Jason Washington, who is now at Mississippi State.
