Samantha Perkins and her husband, both proud Texas A&M graduates, are going to be proud parents in a few months, according to KXAN.
Perkins was even a member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band during her time at the school, from 2004-2008, according to her Linkedin profile.
But the pair got quite a surprise at a doctor’s appointment for Samantha’s 20-week sonogram, KEYE reported.
“The blood runs deep,” Perkins told the station. “Going to the game [against Clemson] this weekend — starting the brainwashing early.”
That maroon-tinted brainwashing may take a little extra Aggie spirit on the part of the parents-to-be, though, after their unborn child was caught by Perkins’ doctor flashing the rival Texas Longhorns’ Hook ‘em Horns hand sign during the checkup.
