AUSTIN, Texas – The UT Tower will be lit tonight (Wednesday), to honor The University of Texas men's and women's swimming and diving teams for winning Big 12 titles last weekend at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center.
The No. 4 men's program took home their 40th-straight conference championship with 1028 points, while the women earned their seventh-straight Big 12 title with 1073.5 points.
Per UT tradition, the campus landmark is bathed in burnt orange lighting from top to bottom when a University of Texas athletics team wins a conference championship.
The University of Texas will be hosting the 2019 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships in Austin with the women going from Mar.
