AUSTIN, Texas – For the second time this season, forward Trinity Byars has been selected as the Big 12 Conference's Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday afternoon. Her recognition comes after being named the conference's co-offensive player of the week on Aug. 23.
Byars registered her sixth career brace with a two-goal performance during the second half of Texas' 2-1 victory at Kansas on Sunday, Oct. 1. She concluded the week tied atop the Big 12 in total points (4), total goals (2), points per match (2.0) and goals per match (1.
