Wade reportedly agreed to a deal with LSU, who fired head coach Johnny Jones after a miserable season in Baton Rouge.
According to ESPN, it took a six-year deal for Wade to leave the Rams for Tigers. The decision came a few days after the Rams lost in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament.
It points to the unfortunate byproduct of the NCAA Tournament – when teams lose on the first weekend, coaches start looking around at the available jobs.
