AUSTIN, Texas – Team Orange defeated Team White, 35-34, in the Texas Football Spring Game on Saturday at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium on Saturday. Arch Manning completed 19-of-25 passes for 355 yards and three touchdowns for Team Orange, while Trey Owns connected on 14-of-21 passes for 228 yards and three touchdowns.
Team Orange took a quick 7-0 lead when Ethan Burke tipped a Quinn Ewers pass into the hands of Alfred Collins, who returned it 32 yards for the touchdown.
On Team Orange's first offensive possession, freshman quarterback Trey Owens connected with senior wide receiver Thatcher Milton for a 50-yard touchdown, driving the score to 14-0.
