The Longhorns are set to face Washington in the Allstate Sugar Bowl on New Year’s Day at 7:45 p.m. CT.
NEW ORLEANS – Texas Football is approaching it's first ever College Football Playoff Semifinal in the Allstate Sugar Bowl on New Year's Day and the Longhorns' players and coaches expressed their excitement during the game's media day on Saturday on the field of the Caesars Superdome.
"We recognize we're playing an extremely good opponent in the University of Washington that is talented, that is well-coached, that is prepared week in and week out," head coach Steve Sarkisian said.
