MANHATTAN, Kan. – Freshman Joyner Holmes led all scorers with 17 points and senior Brianna Taylor notched her first career double-double as No. 12/10 Texas Women's Basketball (22-7, 15-3 Big 12 Conference) closed its regular season with a win at Kansas State (21-9, 11-7 Big 12 Conference) on Monday night, 69-61.
With the victory, Texas ties its school record for the most Big 12 wins in a season with 15, joining the ranks of the 2002-03 and 2015-16 squads.
The Longhorns lead the all-time series over the Wildcats, 19-14, and have claimed the past two season series sweeps.
