After starring on the same Westlake High School football field that produced Super Bowl champion quarterback Drew Brees, Texas Longhorns quarterback Sam Ehlinger is aiming to do much of the same tonight at the Sugar Bowl.
Set to take center stage on the same field the New Orleans Saints star gunslinger calls home, Ehlinger made sure to pay homage in the moments leading up to the madness, donning Brees’ Westlake football jersey as he strolled into the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
“I think that he is, obviously, a Hall-of-Famer.
