It’s safe to say former Texas Longhorns quarterback Colt McCoy is excited about true freshman Arch Manning’s future in burnt orange. Mostly, McCoy recently raved about Manning’s football IQ at such an early age, in large part due to his Manning family background. That’s according to a recent piece quoting McCoy in Inside Texas.
“I’ve been around Arch quite a bit,” McCoy said earliuer this week on Pardon My Take. “Going back to spring practices like I remember when I was helping sort of like recruit him to UT. Now listen, I’m not taking any credit for that at all.
