Saturday was such a heartbreaker in Lubbock as our Longhorns fought their guts out, but wound up on the short end of a 37-34 overtime game against Texas Tech. We made a lot of great plays, came back from an early deficit to surge to a lead, before trailing again late and answering with a thrilling 21-second drive to send it to overtime.
In the end, we couldn't quite get over the hump, and Coach Sark and the team were all just crushed by the end result.
