Texas offensive line coach Herb Hand has now landed his second coveted graduate transfer in as many years.
Offensive guard Parker Braun, a two-time all-ACC selection at Georgia Tech, committed to Texas on Sunday, according to multiple reports. A year ago, Hand successfully recruited Rice offensive tackle Calvin Anderson, who started 14 games as a senior and helped stabilize the offensive line for a team that went 10-4 and won the Sugar Bowl.
Braun provides a valuable piece for Texas. He seems like a natural fit to slide into the left guard spot vacated by departing senior Patrick Vahe.
