Austin — Texas' 2017 football game with Texas Tech will be played on Friday, November 24, at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. The game was originally scheduled for Saturday, November 25. The kick time and network broadcast information will be announced at a later time.
The game will be the first between the schools to be played on a Friday, and the third time they have met around the Thanksgiving holiday after playing on the day itself in 2013 and 2015.
This will mark the second-straight year for the Longhorns to play on the Friday following Thanksgiving after doing so last season against TCU.
