Five University of Texas women's basketball players have been selected to the 2019 Academic All-Big 12 Teams, the league office in Irving, Texas, announced Tuesday.
Olamide Aborowa, Lashann Higgs and Destiny Littleton were named to the First Team, while Sug Sutton and Jada Underwood were named to the Second Team. Higgs is one of eight Big 12 student-athletes this year who have earned spots on the Academic All-Big 12 Teams three or more times.
First team members consist of those who have maintained a 3.20 or better GPA while the second team selections hold a 3.
