Allen Hardin, Texas Athletics' Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director for Performance, Health and Wellness was honored at the recent American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy Awards Ceremony in Washington, D.C.
The longtime UT Athletics staffer received the Turner A. Blackburn Lifetime Achievement Award and was inducted into the AASPT Hall of Fame.
Hardin, who oversees the Longhorns Sports Medicine & Performance support areas for all men's and women's athletic teams, joined the Texas Athletics staff in 1997. He serves as the administrator for UT's Sports Medicine, Athletic Performance, Performance Nutrition, Applied Sports Science, and Behavioral Health staffs.
