Now Smart aims to turn that splash into a tidal wave with the top in-state recruits.
Smart inherits a team long on big men, but short on speedy guards. The new Texas coach is already addressing this need with the commitment of 2016 Houston Yates guard Jacob Young and a visit from 2017 Cinco Ranch (Tx) guard Jay Jay Chandler.
