LAWRENCE, Kan. – Saturday's baseball game between Texas and Kansas is now scheduled to get underway at 6 p.m.
Strong storms and heavy rain in the surrounding area on Saturday prevented the game from getting underway at 1:00. On Friday night, officials had moved the game up from 6 p.m. to 1 p.m., expecting a window to play. Heavy rain fell throughout the morning and early afternoon, though it is now expected to clear out by this evening.
The game can still be seen on ESPN3 for those viewing outside the coverage area of JTV.
