Hall and Scheffler lead all players in the top two spots.
TULSA, Okla. – No. 2 Texas Men's Golf finished the first and second rounds of the Big 12 Championship in first place at Southern Hills Country Club on Monday.
Sophomore Gavin Hall shot a first-round 65 and second-round 71 to lead all players and finish in first place at 4-under par.
Hall's 65 was two strokes shy of the course record and the lowest score in a Big 12 Championship since Texas Tech's Chris Ward shot a 65 in 2010.
Freshman Scottie Scheffler followed a first-round 72 with a 67 to sit behind Hall in second place at 1-under par.
