What was Texas QB legend Vince Young doing at Kyle Field? It might have to do with flag football and the state legislature

COLLEGE STATION -- Legendary Texas Longhorns quarterback Vince Young took to Kyle Field Wednesday afternoon playing in a flag football game with members of the Texas State Legislature.

About 50 state lawmakers gathered to play a flag football game hosted by Texas A&M with the newly elected members, the "Freshmen," taking on the returning members, or "Veterans."

The "Veterans," which held the likes of Young, who led Texas to the 2006 national championship, took down the "freshmen," 50-36.

Land Commissioner George P. Bush was another one of the game's stars. Although Bush is in his second term as Land Commissioner after being re-elected last November, he played quarterback and wide receiver for the Freshman Team.
