Louisville finished the season 7-5, and 3rd place in the ACC Atlantic. They started September with three straight losses to Auburn, Houston, and Clemson, all of which were decided by seven or fewer points. They finished 2015 with a huge 38-24 comeback win over rival Kentucky, scoring 31 points in the second half.
The Aggies own the all-time series against Louisville 3-0, having played them three straight years from 1992-1994.
