Texas A&M football and Adidas began a partnership in 2007 when the the Aggies chose to leave their relationship with Nike. When the maroon and white – and silver, and grey, and black and more – moved to the SEC the Aggies uniform combinations started to get a little more bold.
An official release from Adidas dubbed the new look the “Bright Lights” Primeknit alternate football uniform. That’s a fancy way to say that the dark color scheme should look cool under the evening lights at Kyle Field. The game time for that contest hasn’t been released yet, but it has a chance to be bumped to earlier in the day if the Aggies don’t get off to a good start.
