The Beavers of Orgeon State grabbed the top spot this week after former No. 1 Florida State finished off a 1-4 week with a series loss to Virginia Tech. They’re joined at the top with a Louisville team that is five weeks into this young season and is still undefeated.
Right below them are a few familiar faces. Texas A&M met Texas Tech and TCU in Houston a few weeks ago and split those games. Now both of those squads are in the top five and the Aggies find themselves out of the rankings entirely.
Texas A&M was by far the biggest faller of this week, and frankly I don’t have much of a reason to disagree with the decision.
