Texas A&M adds Arizona grad transfer TE Trevor Wood

Jimbo Fisher has made adding tight ends to the roster a priority this offseason, and his staff’s hard work paid off on Wednesday when the Texas A&M Aggies received a commitment from Arizona graduate transfer tight end Trevor Wood.

Wood stands at an imposing 6’5” and 265 pounds, and has one year of eligibility remaining. He was originally a three-star recruit from Paradise Valley, Arizona in the 2014 class. Wood entered 2017 as the starting tight end, but suffered an injury in the first game of the season, and eventually was asked to switch to defensive end for the Wildcats’ bowl game due to injuries to others at the position.
