The Southeastern conference tournament kicked off Wednesday in Nashville, but the Texas A&M Aggies have yet to take the court thanks to the benefit of a double-bye and a No. 1 seed.
The regular season champions were certainly watching as the Florida Gators defeated the Arkansas Razorbacks by a score of 68-61 to advance to the third round of the tournament. Tip is set for tomorrow at noon on SEC Network.
The Gators finished the regular season 19-13 and with a .500 record (9-9) in conference play. Against the Aggies at Reed Arena on Jan. 12, A&M claimed victory by a final score of 71-68.
