Reggie McNeal and Dat Nguyen, two former Texas A&M football stars have been elected to the 2017 class of the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame.
The new nine-member Hall of Fame class was honored on Saturday May 6 at the Ferrell Center in Waco. In addition to McNeal and Nguyen, the honorees in the 2017 class include:
- Tommy Joe Crutcher, McKinney High School
- Joe Greene, Temple Dunbar High School
- Lovie Smith, Big Sandy High School
- Johnny Walker, San Antonio Holmes High School
- Dat Nguyen, Rockport-Fulton High School
- Reggie McNeal, Lufkin High School
The three additional members of the 2017 class will include two high school coaches and the Dave Campbell Contributor to the Game award.
