COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M Aggies registered a region-best five players on the Midwest-ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Team released by the American Baseball Coaches Association on Wednesday.
Senior shortstop Blake Allemand and sophomore outfielder Nick Banks were named Midwest All-Region First Team and junior outfielder Logan Taylor, senior designated hitter Mitchell Nau and junior starting pitcher Grayson Long were tabbed Midwest All-Region Second Team.
As one of just two SEC schools, along with Missouri, in the Midwest Region, Texas A&M players were hamstrung with most of the voting contingent coming from the Big 12 (eight coaches) and the Missouri Valley Conference (eight coaches).
