Texas A&M's Myles Garrett, a former Arlington Martin standout, became the top overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft on Thursday.

Here are 10 things to know about the Aggies' first-ever No. 1:

'Unblockable'

Garrett, according to maxpreps.com, had 132 solo tackles and 33.5 sacks in three years of varsity football at Arlington Martin. As a senior, he had 20.5 sacks and 39 tackles for losses. "Right now, he is unblockable," Martin coach Bob Wager told ESPN. "We've had some great players here that have wrecked havoc and done some great things here, but Myles Garrett is so quick off the ball.
