Texas A&M's 3 Most Likely Bowl Opponents

Texas A&M limped to a 7-5 record this season, ending the year with disappointing losses to Missouri and LSU. The Aggies should still be going to a good bowl game, so who will they most likely end up facing?

Louisville

The Cardinals had a successful first season in the ACC, posting a 9-3 record under head coach Bobby Petrino. They're probably headed to the Music City Bowl, where the Aggies could end up if the SEC doesn't send Tennessee to Nashville. This would be a fun matchup between two high-powered offenses, and would probably be one of the more entertaining games of the postseason.

UCF

The Knights clinched a share of the American title with a last-second victory over ECU, and are one of the better teams Texas A&M might find themselves up against. UCF won the Fiesta Bowl last year and is emerging in the college football world, so this isn’t a matchup Aggies fans would take lightly.

Texas

With all due respect to the other teams on this list, this is the game that everyone associated with the Aggies wants to play. Texas and Texas A&M used to face off every Thanksgiving, but had their series stop when A&M moved to the SEC. Rekindling the rivalry would create HUGE fan interest and television ratings across the country.
