Serena Williams and other WTA players join a star-studded Mouratoglou Tennis Academy opening

Just before shaking up the streets of Milan with her curves, Serena Williams was in France to help the grand opening of the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy, alongside 1200 big-name guests, including several retired WTA players.

On the men's side, ATP world No.1 Novak Djokovic was there to help Serena mark the opening of her coach's spectacular tennis academy in the heart of the French Riviera, in Sophia-Antipolis, on Monday 19th.

The gala event started with a press conference and was followed by a tour of the state-of-the-art facilities — a 12-hectare complex featuring 34 tennis courts (including 8 covered courts), a pro shop, a medical center equipped with the latest technology, as well as a four-star hotel resort.
