Orlando to host U.S. vs. Belgium showdown in April’s Billie Jean King Cup qualifiers

The USTA National Campus in Orlando is set to host the U.S. versus Belgium Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge qualifying competition on April 12-13, 2024. It will be the first time that the city in Florida has hosted the “World Cup of Tennis.”

Both reigning US Open champion and world No.3 Coco Gauff and world No.5 Jessica Pegula played in last year’s qualifying, held in Delray Beach.

Top professional women’s tennis players representing the U.S. and Belgium will compete in a best-of-five match format. The qualifying event in Orlando is one of eight being held around the world in April, with the winners of each advancing to the Billie Jean King Cup Finals that will take place in Seville, Spain, in November 2024.
