Briton Dan Evans reached his first Tour final after beating Andrey Kuznetsov 6-2 3-6 6-3 in the semi-finals of the Sydney International in Australia.
The 26-year-old started off strongly against the Russian and claimed the opening set in 30 minutes before being pegged back by 25-year-old Kuznetsov.
Evans, ranked 67 in the world, earned a break early in the decider and held on to beat the world number 48.
The British number three will play Gilles Muller in the final on Saturday.
