Vols’ rock painted to support Gatlinburg

The University of Tennessee is extending its support for the fire-ravaged town of Gatlinburg all the way to the most famous rock on Rocky Top.

“The Rock” on the UT campus, which is regularly painted to support events and causes, now bears a message of support for the town in eastern Tennessee at the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
