Just as the early signing period geared up Wednesday morning, Tennessee football scored some good news. Right off the bat, the Vols secured a commitment from one of their top targets out of the state of Georgia.
Len’Neath Whitehead, an athlete out of Athens Academy in Athens, Ga., committed to Rocky Top. He ended up committing and signing his letter of intent on the spot, giving UT its 19th commitment for 2020.
A 6’2″ 232-pound prospect, Whitehead can play linebacker and running back, but is apparently looking to play running back specifically in college. He announced his commitment to Tennessee football during a live ceremony on periscope.
