Tennessee Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk has announced that the team will have new uniforms in 2018. In her words, the upcoming changes are "not minor."
The move is arguably long overdue. Aside from a few minor tweaks, the team has had essentially the same uniforms since the franchise abandoned its old Oilers moniker and became the Titans in 1999. But unlike some of the NFL's other long-running designs, the Titans' on-field look has never had the feeling of a timeless classic. It's not terrible, but there's definitely room for improvement.
