As many expected and speculated, Mike Mularkey confirmed at his press conference today that Justin Hunter is out for the season following surgery today.
Hunter suffered a broken ankle at the end of the game Sunday, and the prognosis is almost never good when the cart comes out almost immediately to get the player on the field.
The plan as of now seems to be to elevate Tre McBride from the practice squad and move him to the active roster to replace Hunter.
