Texans' Cushing practices, 'possibility' he'll play

HOUSTON -- Texans inside linebacker Brian Cushing returned to practice on Wednesday and said there is a "possibility" that he plays on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.

Cushing sprained the medial collateral ligament in his right knee in the season opener against the Chicago Bears. He was reported to miss four to six weeks with the injury.

Cushing said that he and the team are just taking it "day-by-day," and that there is a big difference between participating in practice and playing in a full game.

Texans coach Bill O'Brien said Cushing will be evaluated after each practice this week to see if he will be able to play on Sunday.
