Is Jamal Adams draft's best safety? 'I definitely feel like it'

LSU safety Jamal Adams could be the man for the Tennessee Titans if they stick and pick at No. 5, but whatever he will have done to win Tennessee over won’t have unfolded in Nashville.

In a phone chat Friday morning he told me he met with the Titans at the combine and he was sure Titans defensive backs coach Deshea Townsend was at LSU’s pro day. But Adams has not visited the team in Nashville and is not scheduled to.

That’s hardly a harbinger. Plenty of players are drafted by teams that didn’t have them in as one of their 30 non-local visits.
