PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple women's rowing team opened the fall head racing season with a successful debut at the 2018 Navy Day Regatta. The Owls took the top spot in both the varsity four and novice eight races, taking second in the JV 8, and fourth in the varsity eight.
Collegiate 8+
> Temple raced three boats in deep 26-crew field, taking fourth, eighth, and 18th.
> The Owls' "A" boat clocked in at 13:43.330 to finish just behind Penn, Navy, and Georgetown.
> Temple's "B" boat finsihed in 14:11.890, followed by the "C" boat in 14:48.
