PHILADELPHIA – Temple head track and field coach Elvis Forde announced the addition of Siani Barnes to the 2020-2021 roster. The Drexel Hill, Pa. native specializes in the triple jump and is an exciting addition to the jumps group.
Barnes has shown steady improvements throughout her high school career. As a senior, she finished fifth at the indoor PIAA State Championships with a personal best and school record jump of 11.7m, helping her qualify for the esteemed Indoor New Balance Nationals. During her junior campaign, she competed at both the indoor and outdoor PIAA State Championships, placing sixth indoors.
