Three Notch Hat Tricks for Lacrosse in 18-12 Win Against Lafayette

PHILADELPHIA - For a second time this season, Temple lacrosse scored 18 goals as the Owls (4-1) earned a home win over Lafayette, 18-12 on a gorgeous February afternoon. The defense got its job done as well, particularly freshman goalkeeper Maryn Lowell who made a career-high 11 saves against the Leopards (2-2) to record the win.

The unusually hot weather for winter made it a challenging day for both teams, as Temple head coach Bonnie Rosen attested to after the game.

"The heat today was something new to deal with," she said, "so we were a little fatigued today as I think Lafayette was too.
