PHILADELPHIA - After opening the season with a victory, the Temple lacrosse team will host Rutgers Wednesday at 3 p.m. for mid-week action. The Owls will be celebrating the Fourth-Annual "Cause Day," with each member of the team dedicating the game to an organization that's meaningful to them in some way.

> The Owls earned a 17-8 victory in their season opener against George Washington last weekend.
> Olivia Thompson scored a game-high four goals, while Maddie Gebert scored three. Ten Owls scored against the Colonials, with four scoring at least two.
